Silk-screen printing is fundamental in Muller's practice. He studied "Sérigraphie" at Brussels' La Cambre with Jean-Pierre Point as a teacher. Point can be considered as the Belgian equivalent of Alain Jacquet, the French pop artist whose works from the sixties are still essential today.

Jean Pierre is also committed to the process of drawing, both as a way to explore his ideas in his innumerable sketchbooks and as an end in itself.
